Adjunct Professor of Business Administration
Aine Donovan is the Director of the Institute for the Study of Applied and Professional Ethics at Dartmouth College. Her faculty appointment is at the Tuck School of Business where she teaches business ethics. Prior to her arrival at Dartmouth in 2001, she was a Professor at the United States Naval Academy where she created the required ethics program for all midshipmen, she also consulted to the United States Navy at large and continues to work with several branches of the armed services as an ethics consultant.
Professor Donovan’s research focuses on issues of integrity in organizations, and the challenges of management in a rapidly changing world. The ability of a business leader to adapt, create and promulgate strategies that capture the ethical concerns of the times is a leader who will transcend the norms and generate loyalty and creativity.
