Praveen K. Kopalle is Professor of Marketing at the Tuck School. His areas of expertise include marketing management, marketing research, and management science. His recent research and teaching has focused how legacy firms can introduce radical and disruptive innovations and who firms should talk to when developing innovations. His other research interests include pricing strategy, new products, frequency rewards programs, customer expectations, and dynamic models.
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore selected Professor Kopalle as one of three recipients of their 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award, given each year to alumni who have excelled in industry or academia and thereby contributed to society. Professor Kopalle received this award based on his contributions to research, teaching, and managerial impact.
In addition to being the recipient of other awards, author of numerous articles, and member of several editorial boards, Professor Kopalle is an affiliated faculty member (for Internet marketing and pricing) of the Glassmeyer/McNamee Center for Digital Strategies at the Tuck School.
