Summer in the New Hampshire countryside seems blissful: Days filled with rock climbing expeditions and yoga classes, evening socials and formally scheduled “free time.” Sounds a bit like summer camp, right?

Not quite.

For three weeks in July and August, at a cost of $33,000 apiece, Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business hosts a few dozen corporate leaders at its Tuck Executive Program (known informally as TEP). Though they have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the Hanover, N.H.-based campus and surrounding areas, participants also spend about six hours a day in class, learning finance, communication, marketing and other general management skills...
