The Wells Fargo Scholarship seeks to award 24 diverse participants to attend Tuck School of Business Minority Business Programs. The Tuck Minority Business Programs include:
- Building a High Performing Minority Business
- Growing the Minority Business to Scale
- Digital Excellence for Minority Entrepreneurs
The Wells Fargo scholarship is prioritizing current Wells Fargo suppliers and potential suppliers:
The following priorities will be given to diverse business owners to attend the program:
Priority 1: Current Wells Fargo diverse business owners.
Priority 2: Diverse business owners who sell goods and services that have potential to become Wells Fargo Suppliers.
Priority 3: Diverse business owners in primary Wells Fargo markets/states.
Priority 4: Senior managers of current Wells Fargo diverse suppliers who may not be the senior most leader of the diverse business. Tuck Minority Business Programs has a policy of allowing other senior managers of participating companies to attend the program, once the senior most owner has attended.
Priority 5: Other diverse business owners.
All applicants for scholarships will be placed in one of these categories. Wells Fargo will send out an electronic communication to its diverse suppliers informing you of the scholarship program and their priority status. Tuck Minority Programs will process applicants and confirm with Wells Fargo the applicant’s status as a current diverse supplier.
Demographic Composition of Scholarship Recipients
There is a great deal of diversity within the diverse business community. This scholarship program intends to include participants from all categories of diverse businesses including:
- Racial and ethnic minority owned enterprises;
- Women owned enterprises;
- Disabled owned enterprises;
- Veteran owned enterprises; and
- LGBTQ owned enterprises.

November 12 - 17, 2017
* The value of this program is $9,800 per participant, but Tuck underwrites half this cost as a demonstration of its commitment to minority executive development. The remaining sum of $4,900 is due from each participant to cover the balance of program tuition, materials, accommodations, and most meals.
