I expected the Directors' Consortium curriculum and professors to be terrific...and they were. I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the participants - I was looking to build relationships overseas and made several contacts, one of whom I have already visited. My board colleagues are impressed with my new sense of energy and purpose in my board role.
